Dynaudio BM15A Studio Monitor Review

Dynaudio BM15A Studio Monitors

dynaudio bm15a studio monitorsI have been working a lot with the Dynaudio BM15A studio monitors lately and really like the way they sound. They are easy to listen to for long periods of time and are very accurate allowing the mixes to translate to other systems very well.

The BM15A is a 2-way active system comprising of a 10″ woofer, a phase-aligned crossover, which feeds the built-in dual, high performance discrete MOSFET amplifiers and a special version of the Dynaudio ESOTEC soft dome tweeter.

The ESOTEC HF driver has a dynamic headroom of 1000W, and the 10″ bass driver is world-renowned for its 4″ aluminium alloy voice coil, which outperforms most 12″ drivers in terms of power output and punch.

There is good quality protection circuitry which help to prevent accidental damage to the drivers, while still maintaining maximum transient response.

The BM15A monitor has a front port for extended low frequency response, and the matte cabinet has radius edges on the front baffle, which helps to reduce boundary effects and improve the overall sound quality.

I found the best price online here.
