Roland GW-8 Keyboard Workstation Review

I have recently been doing some recording sessions with an artist/producer who uses the Roland GW-8 and I have to say this keyboard sounds great! I have been interfacing it with my Pro Tools system and find it very easy to use.

This keyboard has over 800 sound and 70 drum kits that all sound amazing. There is a built in 16 track sequencer with 4o plus effects and 128 voice polyphony.

One of the most important features for me is the ability to save files in different formats. I like that I can save a sequence as a standard MIDI file and import it into my Pro Tools system through the USB port, sync the keyboard sequencer and track the sounds easily.

This keyboard does not have the full 88 weighted keys like a good performance piano. So if you are looking for a piano keyboard this is not recommended.
